Jennifer Crisp

My consulting room is in a quiet cul-de-sac in the centre of St. Margaret’s–At-Cliffe, close to the main bus service from Deal, Dover, and Canterbury. Here I can offer you a confidential setting where we can think together about issues that are troubling you. Some of the common issues that people bring encompass anxiety, grief, mood disorders, and problems with relationships.

I have extensive experience of working with adults from varying backgrounds and specifically with older adults experiencing emotional difficulties. Much of my work both within the NHS and in a private setting has been with a diverse range of adults with mood disorders, somatic illnesses, BPD (now known as Emotionally Unstable Personality Disorder (EUPD)), relationship stress, grief, trauma, and unusually high levels of anxiety.

I remain accredited with the United Kingdom Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP) and attend regular professional workshops and seminars in my specialist areas of interest.

Once you decide to book an Initial Consultation, we can think together about your needs and concerns and make plans for working together. All sessions are of 50-minute duration and are normally on the same day at the same time either once or twice per week. Now that pandemic restrictions have been eased, sessions will usually be in-person in my consulting room, although Zoom or telephone sessions can be continued or arranged for specific reasons. It will also be possible to use more than one modality depending on individual circumstances.

My fee is usually £70.00 per session, but I do occasionally have some low-cost spaces available.
