Psychoanalyst
As a member the British Psychoanalytic Association, I offer psychoanalytic psychotherapy and psychoanalysis. I am a Training Analyst for the Tavistock and IPCAPA child psychotherapy trainings.
Areas of interest include: the use of psychoanalysis to help with anxiety, depression, repeating patterns of behaviour, relationship difficulties, loss, long term emotional problems, a lack of fulfilment or meaning in life.
Psychoanalytic psychotherapy
The therapy process requires a commitment over time from therapist and patient. This work is generally long term and open-ended, up to three sessions per week using the psychoanalytic couch. In the initial consultation you will be helped to decide how many weekly sessions will be most beneficial to start with.
psychoanalysis
Psychoanalysis is an in-depth form of talking therapy, 4 - 5 times a week using the psychoanalytic couch. Psychoanalysis can be a progression from less intensive therapy experiences, or it can be undertaken with no previous experience of therapy. I will help you to think about whether psychoanalysis is for you at the present time.
training ANALYSIS/THERAPY
I can provide training therapy for some BPC and UKCP training courses. I am accredited with the Association of Child Psychotherapists (ACP) as a Training Analyst and can offer training analysis for child psychotherapists on Tavistock and IPCAPA courses.

Psychoanalyst, British Psychoanalytic Association.
Master of Clinical Science in Psychotherapy, University of Kent.
