Fees

Fees differ between individual practitioners. There is usually a fee for an Initial Consultation, but this may not apply in circumstances such as remote or online therapy. Some therapists offer a sliding scale of fees, which is dependent on your personal financial situation and is agreed upon in consultation with the therapist. From time to time, a small number of lower-cost spaces may become available.

Please contact your preferred therapist for information about their fees.

Fees are discussed with you during your initial consultation. Your individual financial circumstances will be taken into consideration, as will the number of weekly sessions you attend.

As session times are held for you, missed or cancelled appointments will usually be charged for at the full sessional rate. You will not be expected to pay for any sessions cancelled by your therapist.

Generally speaking, payment for your initial consultation will be taken on the day, in cash or by cheque, after which payments are normally invoiced on a monthly basis and can be paid for by cash, cheque or bank transfer. Be sure to discuss and confirm this with your therapist.
